Job Description

As a Duty Manager, you will complete the following tasks (but not limited to):

  • Support the Front Office Manager in the daily management of the Front Office department.
  • Ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the department during your shift while ensuring guest comfort and exceptional service at all times.
  • Leading by example in providing passionate, knowledgeable and friendly service to all guests at all times.
  • Deal effectively with guest complaints and feedback in an efficient and professional manner
  • Implementing strategies to increase productivity and morale.
  • You will be well-presented with a positive and professional attitude and have a passion for hotel operations and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Promoting the Accor Live Limitless Loyalty Program.
  • Ability to work a flexible 7-day roster including AM, PM and night shifts as required.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role plus:

  • C Class Manual Driver’s License (Preferred).
  • Previous hotel experience in Front Office GSA/Supervisor or DM role (Min 2 Years).
  • RSA Certificate (Required).
  • Well-developed problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to motivate team members.
  • Time management skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Opera experience desirable.
  • Ability to work across a 7-day roster.
  • Flexibility to work overnights.
