  • Leading a team greater than 10 security officers
  • Delivering Process driven efficiency’s
  • SIA – Door Supervisor License
  • SIA – CCTV Licensed
  • Driving Licence
  • First Aid Trained

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Duty Security Manager to provide 24hr a day 7 day a week cover and lead the operational delivery of the campus protections teams across the campus, in line with agreed policies and procedures.
The duty security managers will ensure outstanding customer service and delivery standards for all stakeholders by effective management of the operational delivery teams.

MAIN DUTIES:

  • Whilst on duty lead a team of control room operators and campus protection officers, ensuring there is consistency and professionalism within the team.
  • To oversee the security operations centre and all related security operations for the NEC Birmingham.
  • Ensure the safe operations of all aligned services
  • Ensure all areas of service delivery are correctly resourced or the inability to resource escalated through the correct channels.
  • To implement security procedures and access control in accordance with operational instructions, to ensure a safe and secure site.
  • Ensure the security response to incidents is in line with the NEC Incident and Emergency Plans
  • Ensure innovation and continual performance throughout the life of the contract
  • To effectively line manage those within the team. Including appraisals, performance management and investigations and disciplinary’s
  • Lead by example in terms of punctuality, presentation, and professionalism
