Description:
As an exciting and fast-growing leader within the international corporate event and tradeshow exhibit world, Pro-X Event is looking to expand their team with a Driver, ready to hit the road for local shows & deliveries, while also being eager to lend our installer team a hand when needed.
Qualifications:
- Possess a valid and current DZ License and clean Commercial Vehicle Operator Registration
- Provable 3+ years experience in with DZ license and heavy vehicle driving
- Superior English communication skills (in-person, on the phone and via email)
- Detail-oriented mindset with ability to effectively prioritize and problem-solve
- Flexible with working hours
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Experience with tools, such as a ratchet, drill, etc. is an asset
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite is an asset
- Experience in a trade or similar is an asset (building and taking equipment apart
Responsibilities:
- Provide an exceptional customer experience for our clients
- Safely drive and operate DZ trucks and similar cargo vans
- Support our install/dismantle team when necessary, including helping lift equipment, lending an extra hand when needed, etc.
- Attentively follow all install, dismantle, delivery and pick-up instructions
- Manage time while working independently to ensure deliveries & pick-ups stay on schedule
- Communicate issues and needs with the production team throughout projects
- Complete post-show and post-drive reports including but not limited to incident reports, updates for future projects, etc.
- Keep company vehicles clean and in accordance with all company & safety requirements
- Positively communicate and collaborate across all departments within the organization
