ABOUT YOU:

  • A self-starter with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, capable of identifying and pursuing new opportunities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology or a related field
  • 5+ years of eCommerce experience; Amazon (Vendor Central) & eRetail experience required.
  • Curious and entrepreneurial leader who stays abreast of industry trends, able to set a vision, orchestrate a process to execute that plan, and influence and inspire others
  • Demonstrated track record of increasing e-Commerce revenues via Amazon & eRetail in an Omni-channel business model
  • Strong website and consumer analytic skills, including the ability to link site design and features to strategic objectives and the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate across the entire organization
  • A deep understanding of the global retail eco-system including digital and ad spend

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Senior Director of Amazon & eRetail, the ECommerce Manager, Amazon & eRetailers will oversee and optimize our Amazon, eRetail and Pure Play accounts, focusing on Point of Sale (POS), Wholesale and Marketing initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in managing and expanding our relationship with Amazon, eRetailers & Global Pure Plays, ensuring that revenue and velocity goals are not only met but exceeded.
Responsibilities will span from strategic planning in partnership with the Sr. Director to tactical execution. Your insights will directly influence our sales and marketing strategies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop comprehensive, SKU-specific revenue and velocity forecasts for Amazon & eRetail markets. Monitor and adjust forecasts as needed to ensure accurate projections and adaptability to market dynamics
  • Serve as the primary point of contact within the team for inquiries about optimal e-retail merchandising practices and enhancing the customer experience
  • Create, pursue, and land sales targets in alignment with revenue and internal sales goals, velocity metrics, and associated expenditures
  • Develop meticulous sales and trade-spend forecasts for Amazon & eRetailers, and proactively manage progress against these forecasts on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Leverage a deep understanding of the global retail eco-system, including digital and ad spending to ensure sales and media KPI’s are achieved
  • Regularly track and analyze KPIs related to sales, marketing, and customer engagement. Provide strategic insights based on data to senior management on a weekly basis
  • Collaborate with the Amazon & eRetailers Ad’s team and key agency partners to conceptualize and implement effective media campaigns that align with Amazon & eRetailers’s platform and audience
  • Utilize insights from OLAPLEX media campaigns and site performance to enhance the overall customer experience on Amazon & eRetailers, making sure it aligns with the brand’s desired perception
  • Engage in collaboration with external media and retail media partners to consistently enhance return on ad spend (ROAS), while also conceptualizing and executing a comprehensive test-and-learn roadmap for continuous optimization
  • Offer expert guidance on Amazon & eRetailer related strategies, identifying opportunities to optimize gains from successful tactics and efficiently counteracting negative trends
  • Forge a close partnership with OLAPLEX Marketing and Creative teams to ensure a deep understanding of the brands go-to-market strategy and overall messaging approach
  • Be the bridge between Amazon & eRetailers Planners, Buyers, Trade Marketing teams, VM’s and related counterparts, fostering open communication and collaborative efforts to
  • Effectively convey Amazon & eRetail’s key requirements, needs, cost implications/strategies and feedback to the wider business unit and organizational stakeholders
  • Maintain thorough documentation of negotiated terms, agreements, and allowances, to facilitate clarity, reference, and accountability within the organization
