Due to continued growth in the marketing team we are now looking for an E-Commerce Manager, the key responsibilities for this position is to manage and deliver the e-commerce plan and activity for The Doyle Collection, across our hotels, bars, restaurants and product retail, to drive revenue. This role sits within the Sales & Marketing team, which works to drive customer reach, revenue and reputation: growing and diversify our customer base, generating revenue, and growing awareness of these fantastic brands and experiences.
You would be joining at a time of positive change as we are commencing a website redevelopment project which will create a step change in our digital presence, position the brand and drive revenue, in addition to new CRM and personalisation capability.

Responsibilities:

  • Optimise online trading and digital marketing through our website, search and digital media buying activity to drive conversion.
  • Maintain and update the websites e-commerce platform, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly online customer experience, and working to optimize online trading.
  • Lead on conversion optimization and upselling through the customer journey, encouraging people to stay, join, eat, shop, and enjoy exclusive experiences and packages.
  • Working with the Head of Digital, manage the day-to-day relationship with our digital marketing agency across search marketing (Google, Bing, metasearch and social media advertising targeting) working across media buying, tracking and targeting to continue to increase revenue and meet business targets.
  • Develop and lead on Google business profile work, and train hotel marketing colleagues to support with this work, driving visibility and revenue for our hotels, bars and restaurants using ORM optimization tactics on attributes, posts and menus, with metrics-driven performance improvements. Given the evolution of AI-driven search algorithms, refine our strategy to position us advantageously in both Google Search and Maps platforms.
  • Lead on testing and measuring on the site to drive conversion optimization through the customer journey.
  • Diagnose issues and manage maintenance of existing online platforms e.g. Online Check-In, Online Gift Shop, App, Online Payments.
  • Liaise with our web developers and lead digital projects on optimisations to improve and maintain the website, ensuring it remains visually appealing, user-friendly, and aligned with SEO best practices.
  • Lead smaller cross-organisational digital development projects, and play a key role in the development of the new website working closely to support the Senior Digital Manager who is the project lead.
  • Track, analyse and report on website commercial performance and the success of initiatives, proactively making recommendations for optimization.
  • Work collaboratively to develop website personalization, developing and testing personalized offers and targeting in line with our customer segmentation and loyalty st
