Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for an E-Commerce Product Specialist to join the Emirates Holidays team in Dubai. The Product Specialist will be responsible for contributing towards the development of online products and ancillary services to support the Emirates Holidays teams objectives in line with the overall commercial strategy, across all online channels including mobile sites and apps. This includes assessing and understanding areas such as product research, system development, customer usability, regulatory changes, business impact assessment, business case development and user requirements for these products and services.
The E-Commerce Product Specialist will also be responsible for coordinating activity between representatives within the Emirates Holidays team to ensure all products, services and
ancillaries are utilised to their full potential in order to meet applicable online targets set for the
department.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Provide support on analytics and reporting for internal teams and wider organisation. Leverage insights to drive optimisation of current and any future products through tactical and/or strategic initiatives tying them closely with the commercial strategic priorities.
  • Support the Emirates Holidays strategy in developing and growing online sales through identifying opportunities to optimize conversion rate and provide additional product differentiation across channels.
  • Provide comprehensive support to Emirates Holidays departments in order to optimise revenue and improve customer experience across all channels. Coordinate with all necessary departments (including Emirates Holidays departments and Corporate Communications, Skywards, Finance, Customer Affairs Service Audit and IT Support) to assist in identifying customer issues and pain-points, with the aim of continually improving processes and systems, increasing conversion rate and improving key performance indicators.
  • Transform business requirements into functional and technical product specifications and documentation (business case, specifications, and project plan), ensuring delivery from IT and service providers, and designing and manage business implementation plans.
  • Contribute to Emirates Holidays work programme (enhancements and projects), identifying product differentiation opportunities across channels, developing and designing tests and experiments to support hypothesis, and help prioritize features for delivery and support
  • Implement tactical and/or strategic initiatives tying them closely with the commercial strategic priorities and drive the global adoption and change management of technology driven operational improvements
