E&I Maintenance Engineer

THE OPPORTUNITY

There is an opportunity for an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance Engineer- Afternoon shift (14:30 ~ 23:00) to become part of the E&I team at Broadmeadows.
Reporting to the Senior Manager E&I, you will support the Filling & Packing manufacturing value stream whilst also being the E&I supervisor for the site outside of normal business hours supporting and overseeing the shift E&I Technicians. You will help deliver safe, timely, high quality and compliant maintenance service to the broad range of customers at the Broadmeadows site. The Broadmeadows site is an expanding, supportive and challenging environment working for a world leading manufacturer of life saving medicines.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Seasoned people manager with a proactive approach to form relationships with Technicians and multiple stakeholders
• Enjoy a challenge and want to drive continuous improvement within a highly regulated environment.
• Experience in an operational environment (Pharmaceutical manufacturing, FMCG, oil & gas or similar environments)
• Degree in Electrical Engineering

• Maintenance of Electrical and Instrumentation equipment for manufacturing plants in a safe and compliant manner
• Provide technical advice and deal with escalations including assisting with fault finding and detailed problems solving
• Help with daily work allocation, reactive and proactive
• Lead and mentor a small group of Technicians
• Form close relationships with multiple groups on site including customers and multiple support functions
