Description:

Robert Half HR Solutions is looking for a Learning and Development Contractor for our client with a global presence. This contract engagement is expected to last about 90 days and will be fully remote with preference given to candidates who live in the East Coast.
We are seeking a skilled Learning and Development Specialist with 7+ years of experience designing and executing impressive learning programs, particularly in an eLearning environment. The ideal candidate possesses substantial expertise in multimedia production, particularly video content, and has successfully designed an interactive learning immersion program. This role entails working with a global audience, so experience in crafting and implementing training programs across cultures and time zones is crucial.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

Significant experience designing and implementing eLearning programs, with demonstrated proficiency using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and eLearning authoring tools.
Strong multimedia production skills, especially in relation to video content.
Proven ability to facilitate engaging and effective training sessions.
Successful history of coordinating external speakers within a training context.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with cultural sensitivity and an aptitude for working with a global audience.

Qualifications: Applicants must possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in a Learning and Development role, with substantial experience designing and implementing eLearning programs.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Instructional Design or related field within the Hi Tech Engineering industry
  • Proven ability to facilitate workshops and virtual meetings effectively
  • Demonstrable experience in facilitating learning and development strategies
  • Extensive knowledge of adult learning methodologies and principles
  • Proficient in designing and implementing e-Learning modules
  • Experience in using Learning Management Systems
  • Familiar with Global HR practices and policies
  • Must be able to work remotely and manage tasks independently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design, develop, and facilitate impactful eLearning programs for a global audience, incorporating innovative multimedia and interactive elements.
Produce engaging video content intended for educational use, ensuring content is accessible and comprehensible for international staff.
Creatively structure an interactive learning immersion program which effectively supports learning objectives and drives learner engagement.
Facilitate training sessions, endeavoring to encourage active participation and comprehensively addressing participant queries.
Coordinate external speakers to complement in-house training, ensuring their material is relevant and optimally supplements the learning journey.
Continually review and optimize training program content and delivery methods in response to feedback from participants and implementation observations.
Collaborate with internal teams to understand specific learning needs and incorporate these into the design of training programs.
