EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a leadership or management role within content creation, production, or a related field, preferably in online education, media, or entertainment.
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
The E-Learning Manager will oversee and coordinate all aspects of online and blended learning for Degree Apprenticeship programs. This role involves managing learning technologies, leading e-learning projects, and ensuring the creation and delivery of high-quality educational content. The E-Learning Manager will work closely with academic staff and other stakeholders to enhance the student learning experience through effective instructional design and the use of innovative multimedia resources.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Leadership and Coordination
- Lead and coordinate all online/blended learning initiatives for Degree Apprenticeship programs.
- Manage and optimize all systems and technologies used within the Degree Apprenticeship programs.
- Oversee the development and delivery of high-quality content and production projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
- Instructional Design and Resource Development
- Collaborate with educators and staff to design and produce e-learning resources and activities that support learning outcomes and assessment strategies.
- Identify and implement appropriate instructional design approaches based on research-informed practices and multimedia development knowledge.
- Ensure the selection and use of the most suitable technological tools and software to support pedagogical approaches.
- Training and Support
- Provide guidance to the team on locating, evaluating, and implementing learning resources, including open educational resources.
- Design and deliver training sessions and support materials (face-to-face, online, and paper-based) to facilitate the effective use of learning technologies.
- Content and Production Management
- Lead a team of content and course creators, learning experience producers, and production professionals to drive innovation and excellence in content creation and delivery.
- Develop and maintain content and production standards, guidelines, and best practices.
- Collaborate with the Production Management Department to align budgets, schedules, and creative concepts, optimizing production processes for efficiency.
- Continuous Improvement and Reporting
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in e-learning and content production.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the impact, effectiveness, and efficiency of learning resources and production processes.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of e-learning initiatives and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
