KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND DEMONSTRATED ABILITIES:

  • A diploma or certificate in Adult Education or equivalent and/or completion of a college degree in Business Administration or related field would be an asset. Or a combination of education and related experience
  • At least 2+ years of experience designing, developing and evaluating curriculum for corporate e-Learning
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methods and best practices
  • In depth knowledge and experience using Articulate.
  • Experience with eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate, 360 and Adobe Captivate
  • Experience in administering and managing Learning Management Systems; developing and deploying e-learning
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail, consistently high level of accuracy and strong organization skills
  • Demonstrates strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally (both verbal and written) with all levels of Coe, and to build strong and sustainable business relationships throughout the organization
  • Excellent written communications with an emphasis on business writing skills
  • Strong knowledge of multimedia editing tools such as Photoshop and Premiere Pro
  • Knowledge of Java Script, HTML, coding, expert knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THIS ROLE:

Under the guidance of the Manager, Branch Administration, Sales Operations, the technical designer and e-Learning development specialist creates compelling course content and works with subject matter experts to identify training needs. This role maintains the digital learning content for the Sales Centre of Excellence. This position contributes to the Company’s ability to provide an exceptional employee experience by providing engaging and effective e-Learning.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, develop and execute effective learning solutions for the sales CoE that align with Arbor’s training strategy and enhance the employee experience
  • Liaise with business partners and subject matter experts to gather requirements and understand processes and training needs
  • Design and execute eLearning content that addresses training needs and adheres to the accessibility requirements
  • Leverage current technology to develop best in class training solutions
  • Create engaging and unique learning experiences using a range of learning engagement tools
  • Create digital assets (i.e. video, graphics and illustration) for eLearning content
  • Design and develop eLearning course templates
  • Develop illustrations, graphics, video etc. to support training content
  • Design, maintain and manage the Sales CoE SharePoint site
  • Deploy training content to Arbor’s internal sharing platforms (i.e. LMS, SharePoint/Engage)
  • Review and evaluate eLearning content effectiveness
  • Monitor the completion and scoring of training courses and assignments
  • Provide and analyze metrics to measure ROI on learning initiatives
  • Provide LMS optimization recommendations to enhance employee learning
  • Completes other duties as required
    Other duties may be assigned as required, in addition to the principal duties and responsibilities outlined above.
