Job Description
As our Email & SMS Marketing Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of our customer engagement strategy. You’ll work alongside a passionate marketing team to create compelling email and SMS campaigns that captivate our audience, increase customer loyalty, and drive sales. Your creativity and data-driven insights will shape how we communicate new product launches, promotions, and personalized recommendations, making every message memorable and on-brand.
- Develop, manage, and execute email marketing and SMS campaigns, including promotional, transactional, and lifecycle emails.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Creative, E-commerce, Merchandising) to ensure all email and SMS content aligns with brand guidelines and marketing goals.
- Build and manage email lists, segments, and databases to optimize targeting and performance.
- Develop effective A/B testing strategies to optimize open rates, click-through rates (CTR), and conversions.
- Analyze campaign performance metrics (e.g., open rates, CTR, conversion rates) and provide actionable insights to improve future campaigns.
- Manage the scheduling, segmentation, and personalization of email and SMS content using marketing automation tools.
- Ensure compliance with email marketing best practices and anti-spam laws (CASL, GDPR).
- Collaborate on lead generation initiatives, working closely with the customer acquisition and retention teams.
- Continuously test new strategies for email and SMS campaigns to boost engagement and sales, including subject lines, send times, and personalized messaging.
- Assist in setting up and managing automation flows for cart abandonment, product recommendations, and post-purchase communications.
- Stay up to date with email and SMS marketing trends and technologies to drive innovation within our campaigns.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in email and SMS marketing, preferably in retail or e-commerce.
- Proficient in platforms like Klaviyo, Listrak, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Strong understanding of segmentation, automation, and A/B testing strategies.
- Familiarity with HTML for email design (preferred but not mandatory).
- Experience with campaign performance analysis, delivering actionable insights.
- Knowledge of CASL and GDPR regulations.
- Strong project management and multitasking skills.
- Bilingual in English and French is a plus!
