12 Month Fixed Term Maternity Cover Ideally looking for full time but will consider part time (min. 30hrs/week)
Hybrid working pattern 3/4 days on site
Renishaw is seeking to recruit an Administration & Events Coordinator. The role will be based at New Mills, Wotton-Under-Edge Gloucestershire.
This Administration & Events Coordinator role will be supporting the Early Careers & STEM outreach teams, working alongside the Senior Early Careers advisor & STEM outreach officer. You will be supporting both teams by undertaking a variety of administrative tasks such as coordinating company welcome days, STEM events planning, Early Careers induction days and ensuring the team has adequate support to work efficiently and effectively.
You will be a confident communicator, have a keen attention to detail and an adherence to processes, and have excellent organisation skills. Good PC skills are essential. Previous experience in event coordination and administration task are desirable for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Organise and coordinate internal & external events for early careers
  • Support the recruitment team with welcome and induction days for early careers
  • Coordinate and administrate the Renishaw work experience programmes
  • Manage the STEM ambassador training and coordination
  • Plan, book & coordinate presentation weeks for Early Careers graduates
  • Liaise with group communication team to share and celebrate good news & celebrations stories
  • Coordinate the team building and activity days with external providers

Key requirements

  • A good level of education (GCSE’s minimum), including Maths and English subjects
  • A good standard of PC literacy, with experience of using all Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organisational skills, to manage high volumes of work, often within tight deadlines
  • A proactive well-motivated, confident individual with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • A willingness to work out of office hours – there will be occasional evening and weekend work
  • A willingness to occasionally work on other Renishaw sites
