Description:

The Early Careers intake has grown year on year, in line with the rapid growth expansion and success of the business. This is a key talent pool for Isio in maintaining and growing the support we provide to our clients and to our own teams.
The role is a key one within the Resourcing and Development Team within Isio’s People function leading the delivery of an professional and engaging recruitment approach to attract, select and on-board our early careers recruits. This role will offer the ongoing opportunity to work on a range of initiatives to continue increasing the diversity of our early careers intake and engage with talent earlier in their academic journey.
Key responsibilities
This is an opportunity for someone who has experience of at least 2-3 Early Careers recruitment cycles of an intake of 50-100 hires. who can take responsibility of managing the effective operational delivery of Early Careers Recruitment. You might be already working in this space or in another volume recruitment role and ready for more personal accountability and management responsibility. Experience working in Financial and Professional Services will also be good to see but we are keen to consider anyone with experience of delivering an effective experience for both hiring teams and potential recruits in Early Careers.
Reporting to the Early Careers Resourcing and Strategy Manager and working alongside one other colleague in managing the operational delivery of Early Careers Recruitment for Isio
Working with key internal stakeholders on identifying early careers recruitment targets
Manage contact with university careers services and academic department for promoting Isio’s opportunities with maximum impact including attending in-person events on campus.
Proactive communication with colleagues in Marketing to ensure Isio’s website is up to date with engaging content around Early Careers opportunities
Work with external online advertising providers to maximise the impact of Isio’s content
Manage the setup of Early Careers roles on our application tracking system in line with strategic goals around selection and inclusivity
Manage the reviewing of applications in good time with effective prioritisation of different roles looking to achieve balance of rigour and positive candidate experience
Manage online testing provider and effectively monitor their platform and candidate flow
Support colleagues carrying out interviews and other selection with effective coaching and scheduling
Ensure candidates are effectively communicated to around assessment process
Support colleagues with deciding assessment outcomes with effective guidance on ensuring objectivity and with no impact of unfair bias
Ensure that engagement with external partners in attracting and recruiting candidates from under-represented groups is managed effectively
Ensure candidates receive prompt communication and feedback around application outcomes across all stages of the application process
Manage process for issuing formal offers and follow up with candidates in prompt and engaging manner
Actively support for, and managing key aspects of, pre-joining /keep warm activity up to and including induction events.
Prepare and present effective updates on campaign highlighting key data during, and at the end of, the recruitment campaign.
Required Experience & Competencies
Proven experience of managing some, or all aspects, of Early Careers recruitment of 50-100 2hires per year
Good Understanding of secondary school and university qualifications and course structures across the UK
Experience in interviewing early careers applicants and coaching colleagues on doing so
Confidence in verbal communication and being able to communicate effectively to different groups including senior operational colleagues, university staff and potential early careers candidates – including delivering live presentations in-person and virtually.
Effective written communication skills
Insight and clear interest into best practice and trends in Early Careers recruitment
Basic to intermediate competence with Microsoft office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
Ability to maintain effective discretion and take appropriate action to maintain confidentiality around sensitive information
Being comfortable to work independently and part of a team, being able to meet deadlines consistently.
Consistently work with a high level of attention to detail
