Early Years Educator Floater (30 hours per week)
Crumlin Childcare Centre has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Early Years Educator to work for a Full Day Community-Based Childcare Service in a purpose-built facility in Crumlin, Dublin 12. We support children and families to reach their true potential and achieve their goals. We are committed to providing Quality Early Learning and Care Experiences with a dynamic staff team. We have an opening for a floater position to support all of the rooms in the centre. This will be for break cover and annual leave or sick leave.
Main Job Purpose: · To work as a Childcare Educator providing high-quality and best-practice standards in relation to all aspects of childcare and early learning at Crumlin Childcare Centre. · To work in close co-operation with the Room Leader and Centre Manager in relation to the overall delivery of service provided by the Centre Overall Duties: · To report to the room leader and Centre Manager of the Crumlin Childcare Centre · To work with staff to provide a team approach to the delivery of childcare and education of the highest standard with reference to Aistear and Siolta.
Administration · To assist in maintaining all regulatory paperwork where necessary. · To act as a key worker. To assist in maintaining up-to-date necessary records in compliance with the most recent Childcare Pre-school Services Regulations, role book, accident report book, when necessary
To assist with the design and implementation of a stimulating programme underpinned by a holistic approach, enhancing the child’s natural growth and development. · To ensure the protection of children in accordance with Children First: National Guidelines for the Protection and Welfare of Children 1999. · To assist with child developmental observations and recorded them appropriately in partnership with the Room Leader
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From €21,356.00 per year
Expected hours: 30 per week
