Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to effectively manage time, and a passion for working with children.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child
- Monitor and assess children’s progress and development
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, and other staff members to ensure the well-being of each child
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
- Incorporate Frenchify techniques into daily lessons to promote language development
- Utilize special education strategies to support children with diverse learning needs
- Demonstrate leadership skills by guiding assistant teachers and volunteers
Requirements:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Previous experience working in childcare or a similar setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is highly desirable
- Knowledge of child development principles and practices

Pay: $17.40-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
