Early Childhood Educator Level 1 to 3

We are looking for dynamic individuals to join our team who have their Level 1, 2, or 3

SOFT SKILLS:

• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Exercise good judgment and maintain confidentiality
• Punctual, flexible, and reliable
• Be a team player and work collaboratively with others

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR SPECIFIC SKILLS

• Provide effective supervision of children at all times
• Able to guide and redirect children in situations when conflicts arise
• Comfortable with singing Christian songs and reading Bible stories
• Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs and taking children to local points of interest
• Comfortable with singing Christian songs, reading and discussing Bible stories, and leading children’s prayer and worship times
• Provide opportunities to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity
• Plan and implement activities based on observations of children’s interests, needs, and abilities
• Assess the abilities, interests and needs of children and discuss progress or problems with supervisors
• Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioural problems and prepare reports for supervisors
• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children
• Be flexible in working with children of all ages from 3 - 12 years old
