Responsibilities:
- Liverpool City Council are looking to appoint an Early Notification SEND Officer to join our thriving Early Years SEND Team
- The Early Notification SEND officer role is to ensure our families have information, services, and support at the first opportunity. The role requires significant multi-agency working as no two cases are the same!
- We need significant experience and knowledge of special educational needs in the Early Years
- We need a dynamic, empathetic, driven team player
- Your responsibilities will include triaging information from health colleagues to inform decision making, co-producing with families to plan next steps, referring and signposting to relevant services and reviewing outcomes to ensure our families get the best possible start
- You will be expected to collaborate within our team with Early Years SEND Coordinators to inform and drive our ethos and strategy
- This hybrid role provides flexibility with frequent requirement to attend settings, children centres and meetings across the city
