EXCITING OPPORTUNITY: EARLY YEARS EDUCATION LEAD - WEST MIDLANDS

Tiny Toez, an award-winning nursery chain renowned for its outstanding nurseries, is seeking an experienced Early Years Education Lead to oversee and shape teaching and learning and ensure the delivery of high-quality provision across eight settings in the West Midlands.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  • A Level 6 qualification in Early Years or equivalent.
  • Proven experience managing multiple nursery settings.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the EYFS framework and Ofsted standards.
  • Experience supporting the SENDCo and working with children with additional needs.
  • Extensive knowledge of Ofsted expectations, statutory requirements and experience of Ofsted inspections within Early Years settings.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
  • A genuine passion for delivering outstanding Early Years education.

Responsibilities:

In this pivotal position, you will:

  • Lead and support nursery managers and staff to maintain exemplary early years education.
  • Oversee the implementation of the curriculum in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Ensure compliance with Ofsted requirements and champion continuous improvement.
  • Support settings to implement the curriculum, have high expectations for children’s development, and work with the setting management team and practitioners to ensure that gaps in development are identified and progress is made.
  • Ability to work with local authority development officers and advisors for each region.
  • Create and deliver effective training packages across all sites as necessary
  • Role model positive teaching and learning; interactions, implementing routines, behaviour management strategies and ensuring activities are challenging, and age and stage appropriate.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives and enhance the overall provision.
