An interdisciplinary research team from the University of Edinburgh Institute of Infrastructure and Environment and Edinburgh School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture are looking for a PhD student to contribute to our understanding of river regime changes.
This project aims to explore the influence of river catchment land use policies to changing river flows and subsequent vulnerability to climate change. The student will identify the main river basins in the UK that overlap with major urban centres and analyse data on how climate change and land use changes affect the river flows.
