Description:
We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to make a difference in our Hub located within Copenhagen Airport. You will be a part of the continued success of DHL Aviation in a new state-of-the-art logistics Hub located at Copenhagen Airport. You will report to the Station Manager and you will be the Supervisor for a team of aircraft engineers. You will be working 7 days and have 7 days off. You will primarily be working night shifts. YOUR SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
You will use your leadership experience and your technical skills to succeed in this position. Your five years of line/type experience and your three years of performed RTS experience will be needed. Besides that a valid Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance License preferably with a B1 and/or B2 rating on Airbus 300, Boeing 757, or Boeing 767. Your outgoing personality and your people-oriented approach are essential in the daily contact with your team members. You enjoy the international environment and you are a skilled communicator, fluent in English, with Danish being an advantage. You approach people around you openly and honestly, which creates a positive and constructive dialogue. You use your ability to manage stressful situations, work in an organized and independent manner, and make decisions based on facts daily. You use your structured mindset and your IT skills to manage organizational and administrative tasks, such as maintaining the Daily Operating Plan and reviewing KPIs on a daily and weekly basis. You follow the escalation process securing appropriate corrective action is initiated according to business rules and you constantly use your ability to lead by example and be a role model in the Operation. Lastly, your flexibility regarding work hours will be extremely valuable as well as relevant certificates within Human Factors, Fuel Tank Safety/CDCCL, and EWIS.
Responsibilities:
As our Maintenance Supervisor, you will participate in all line maintenance activities and you will make sure that all daily routines, in connection with aircraft line maintenance, are performed in accordance with various manuals and procedures. You will use your excellent people, organizational, and motivational skills, as well as your strong leadership competencies to develop your team. With a ‘Safety First’ mindset, you will prioritize ensuring a safe work environment to help maintain the well-being of your team. You will continuously aim to deliver great results through a continuous focus on the development of your employees. You use your strong overview and your detailed mindset to plan, execute, and report the daily operation, as well as ensure contingency plans for all vital processes.
