Overview:
Works under the supervision of the Mgr of Noninvasive Cardiac Services and Lead Ultrasound Tech. Performs Diagnostic Echocardiography Ultrasound procedures for ordered physician to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This position is responsible for the care of neonate (0-28 days, infant (1-12 months, children (1-12 years), adolescent (13-17 years, adult (18-72 years) and geriatric (72+ years) patients.

• Associate Degree

Other information:
Experience: 1-2 years preferred. Demonstrates standards of performance (ownership, teamwork, communication, compassion) that support patient satisfaction and principles of service excellence.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Individual will possess commensurate combination of education, experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities:
1. Performs all diagnostic Echocardiography Ultrasound procedures per standard protocols under the supervision of a Cardiologist for neonatal through geriatric patients.
2. Completes examinations by documenting all appropriate procedural related information
3. Provides for patient’s physical and emotional needs in a wide variety of circumstances.
4. Provides all customers with information pertinent to their exams.
5. Performs/documents QA and QC per section protocol.
6. Performs all duties necessary to ensure the harmonious operation of the Echocardiography Ultrasound sectio
