Echocardiograph Technologist - St Mary Medical Center-Walla Walla, WA
Under general supervision of the Director Diagnostic Imaging & Manager, and according to established policies and procedures, performs echocardiograms to produce diagnostic data assessing heart function and capability to be used by the cardiologist to enhance the care and treatment of the patient. In doing so, obtains pertinent patient information and explains the purpose and duration of testing to the patients. Reviews results and arranges reports for physician review. Provides other diagnostic testing.

Shift Details: Part time, Variable, 10 Hour Daily Overtime 40 Hour Week

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Coursework/Training Successful completion of an accredited academic program in Echocardiography.
• Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or
• Upon hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 1 year Echocardiography experience.
