3M is seeking an eCommerce Data Syndication Specialist for the Digital Marketing Operations Team. This position will be located in Belen, Heredia as part of our Global Service Center in Costa Rica. Job summary:
The successful candidate will play a critical role in activating content-to-revenue marketing. They will source and synthesize complex product information into engaging, relevant content that drives sales. Relentless research acumen, acute attention to detail, and a strong “customer first” mentality are critical.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Working with Consumer Business Group Global Marketing Center eCommerce team you will be responsible for optimizing retailer website pages for 3M products by:
- Publishing assets leveraging retailer-specific tools and processes to ensure catalog accuracy and relevance when automation cannot be leveraged
- Leveraging system(s) of record to gather assets required for launch on Omni Retailer.com sites
- Gathering missing required assets and attributes to onboard products
- Transforming assets to meet retailer specifications
- Addressing revisions to required attributes made by Omni Retailers
- Transform product details into rich, high-quality content that aligns to business strategy and customer needs.
- Ensure content meets all internal governance and external market standards, including trademarking, formatting, corporate brand guidelines, tone-of-voice standards, and SEO.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing robust data validation and quality control processes.
- Analyze trends and patterns in data to provide insights and recommendations for business improvement.
- As the Subject Matter Expert of the E2E process, guide the coworkers on how-to questions and problem resolution, manage the queue, keep the documentation updated and owns the Quality process.
Skills and Experience Required
- 2+ years of experience in Content Management, Content Marketing, or Database Administration.
- Familiarity with eCommerce or eMerchandising experience.
- Self-motivated, and able to work effectively as an individual, in cross-functional groups, and with internal and external customers.
- Collaborative team player with leadership skills.
- Ability to communicate with several different functions, across multiple levels in the organization.
- Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills including talent for conducting research, analyzing data.
- Outstanding organizational skills & passion for accuracy—every data detail matters.
- Ability to think critically and manage multiple deadlines independently & comfortably.
- Strong computer and technology skills; highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- English Level: B2+/ C1.
- Familiarity with GS1-managed data standards, including GDSN and GTINs is a plus.
