Job Description:
Giant Tiger Wholesale (GTW) is looking to hire part-time Warehouse Associates for our e-Commerce Fulfillment Center in Ottawa, ON. You will be responsible for filling customer orders from our e-comms stores for the holidays.
This is a seasonal temporary contract until the end of December 2024. A typical part-time schedule is up to 24 hours weekly.

Ecommerce Warehouse Associate Highlights:

• Pick ecommerce orders focusing on accuracy;
• Packing and shipping ecommerce orders as per procedures to ensure safe delivery to customers;
• Receive and put away inventory while maintaining accurate records;
• Lift boxes with a weight range of 1 - 50 pounds;
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area;
• Comply with GT’s policies and procedures as well as OSHA and MSDS Standards;
• Assist in coordinating and loading new Store opening deliveries, if requested;
• Prepare store to store transfers maintaining accuracy as needed;
• Other related duties as required by the Leadership team.

Ecommerce Warehouse Associate Job Requirements:

• Completion of High School;
• Experience in a fulfillment environment;
• Experience as a warehouse associate or a similar position;
• Must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time;
• Must be able to lift heavy items for extended periods of time;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Experience in working with AS400 is an asset;
• Experience in a digital/ecommerce warehouse operation is an asset;
• Warehouse Management System experience is an asset;
• Material handling equipment driving experience is an asset;
• Successful candidates must be in good standing for both performance and health & safety.
