To be the best skincare company in the world we must build a world class eCommerce organisation. The role of the eCommerce Content & Data Manager will be pivotal as we get to work on our bold ambition to double our digital sales by 2027.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive best in class execution of Beiersdorf brands online, across Pure Play and Omnichannel retailers by owning all areas of digital content / the PDP – SEO product text, mobile imagery, videos, etc in collaboration with agency partners.
  • Redefine standards of excellence in conjunction with regional and global teams and then, drive follow through and adherence with local teams – primarily, brand marketing. Create a playbook for digital shelf / content excellence.
  • Work closely with brand managers to ensure we have eCommerce optimized and suitable content for all existing and new product launches. Collaborate to get what is required OTIF and create / maintain a single source of truth document for eCommerce content.
  • Manage a range of agency relationships with clear expectations – content agencies, Brandbank, Profitero and indirectly, Bazaar Voice.
  • Negotiate annual contract with Brandbank to ensure it continues to represent good value for Beiersdorf and meets our requirements.
  • Develop a working understanding of key systems and tools e.g. PIM/DAM, Brandbank and how they interact with each other to be able to resolve content issues that arise by identifying the root cause.
  • Adopt a Test & Learn mindset – e.g. A/B tests – to achieve continuous improvements through the discovery of new optimizations that can be made to drive sales.
  • Lead the monitoring, tracking and communication of Digital Shelf metrics (Profitero). Seek improvements to all metrics and engage key stakeholders.
  • Monitor Digital Shelf KPIs daily/weekly and share issues with appropriate cross-functional teams for resolution. Provide monthly KPI reporting.
  • From time to time, intervene directly with retailers to secure the content optimizations you are seeking.
  • Measure the impact of interventions on sales and other digital shelf metrics and make data-led recommendations for the future.
  • Maintain an active awareness of industry trends and best practices, bringing them to the business and retailers. Create and maintain internal playbook with key learnings.
  • Become the go-to person locally and for the European Region for all matters relating to eCommerce content & digital shelf.
  • Leverage existing and new data sources to support eCommerce growth plans and to guide the eCommerce team
