Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, eCommerce Product Strategy the eCommerce Coordinator is responsible for enhancing the 1P product assortment on ufa.com. The role will be responsible collecting product catalogue data including product descriptions, specifications, images and videos. The role will be responsible for ensuring that the information accurately represents the product to be sold and that it is aligned with UFA brand and data standards and is uploaded to UFA’s eCommerce site in a timely manner with the overall objective to enhance and improve the online customer shopping experience. This role will focus on enhancement opportunities to product information online to better serve our customers. This role will be a critical liaison with several internal UFA team members, including Product Managers, digital marketing and data support, as well as external vendors.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Manages new and existing product information for UFA’s online product catalogue.
  • Manages the collection of product information relevant to eCommerce and maintains UFA data standards to provide consumers with a consistent and positive shopping experience.
  • Supports the process for product additions and ongoing product maintenance for the online product catalogue focusing on product descriptions, specifications, and images.
  • Follows up accordingly on items and escalates as needed to ensure completeness, compliance and mitigation of errors which could result in brand or legal risk.
  • This role provides analysis that supports the growth, maintenance and development of eCommerce at UFA.
  • Proactively reviews content and performs regular audits of product catalogue data and identifies opportunities to enhance the customer experience.
  • Creates an action plan to implement enhancements. This will require obtaining support and buy in from critical stakeholders, delegating accordingly, and effective follow up to complete the required work.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor’s degree (preferred) or college diploma related to business, ecommerce or digital marketing, is required.
  • Agricultural background is an asset.
  • Two to three years professional experience in a related area or discipline.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyize and interpret large volumes of data to identify solutions.
  • Strong MS Excel skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities with strong administrative skills to manage the volume and projects.
  • Ability to create and manage product timelines and partners to ensure accurate completion.
