JOB DESCRIPTION

This is a remote position.
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Ecommerce Marketplace Channel Coordinator to join our dynamic ecommerce team. This role is pivotal in enhancing our presence and performance across various online marketplaces. You will be responsible for building and optimizing our marketplace content with a strong focus on SEO, managing marketing activities, and coordinating product logistics to ensure effective marketplace operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ecommerce, particularly in managing seller accounts on platforms like Amazon and eBay, and a deep understanding of digital marketing strategies.
As an Ecommerce Marketplace Channel Coordinator, your role will involve detailed product content creation, catalog management, and promotional activities to increase product visibility and sales. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to manage stock levels, coordinate photoshoots, and ensure compliance with marketplace standards. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, has excellent problem-solving skills, and is capable of working independently while effectively contributing to team goals. Your efforts will directly influence our marketplace success, driving growth and ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Content and Listing Optimization
  • Develop and enhance A+ marketplace content, including writing detailed product descriptions, resizing and cataloging product imagery, and optimizing data feeds for categorization.
  • Monitor and adjust live promotions, pricing, and product listings to ensure compliance with marketplace standards and SEO best practices.
  • Marketing and Promotional Coordination
  • Coordinate marketing efforts for all marketplace activities, including managing promotional opportunities and creating content such as guides, banners, HTML templates, and emails.
  • Analyse marketplace metrics to monitor and report on the effectiveness of promotional strategies and make data-driven adjustments.
  • Logistics and Supply Chain Collaboration
  • Collaborate with the supply chain team to manage logistics, ensuring accurate stock levels, timely fulfillment, and adherence to marketplace SLAs.
  • Support the Customer Experience team in managing returns and addressing customer feedback.
  • Photography and Imagery Management
  • Identify gaps in product imagery and coordinate the sourcing of samples and the organization of photoshoots, providing support during studio sessions.
  • Work with photographers and talent to ensure high-quality images that align with brand standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience in an ecommerce and marketplace role.
  • Proficient in using marketplace tools, with experience in managing Amazon and eBay seller accounts.
  • Strong experience in content management and promotional execution within an ecommerce environment.

Desirable

  • Experience in digital marketing and advertising.
  • Bonus experience with digital tools like Celigo, NetSuite, Omnivore (Shopify App), and HTML.

Software Expertise

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, NetSuite ERP, Adobe Photoshop, and familiarity with HTML.
  • Knowledge of ecommerce platforms and applications such as Shopify.

Education

  • A degree in Marketing, Ecommerce, Business, or a related field is required.
