JOB SUMMARY

Are you passionate about ecommerce and looking to grow your skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment? We are seeking an Ecommerce Operations Specialist to manage and optimize the daily operations of our ecommerce platforms. This role offers opportunities for learning, growth, and working with cross-functional teams to drive our online presence and customer experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in ecommerce operations or a related field.
  • Familiarity with ecommerce platforms, such as Shopify, and basic front-end customization (HTML, CSS, or JavaScript).
  • An understanding of ecommerce metrics and tools like Google Analytics.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Preferred Skills (Not Required):

  • Experience with tools like Amazon A+ Content or Syndigo.
  • Knowledge of tracking pixels, API processes, or WCAG accessibility standards.
  • Familiarity with email marketing, reviews management, or affiliate platforms.
  • Understanding of Shopify Liquid and Schema.

Responsibilities:

Ecommerce Operations:

  • Manage day-to-day ecommerce operations, including product uploads, pricing updates, and content maintenance across multiple websites.
  • Ensure product catalogs are well-organized and updated to enhance discoverability.
  • Monitor inventory levels to promptly activate and deactivate products as needed.
  • Troubleshoot order workflows and collaborate with internal teams to resolve operational issues.
  • Track key ecommerce metrics (e.g., sales, conversion rates, cart abandonment) and support strategies to improve performance.

Content Management:

  • Create and update product listings and enhanced content using tools like Amazon A+ Content or Syndigo.
  • Work with internal teams to update promotional banners and website content.
  • Ensure website content aligns with brand guidelines, is SEO-friendly, and complies with accessibility standards.

User Experience Enhancements:

  • Assist in optimizing website layouts and navigation for a seamless user experience.
  • Support minor page customizations using basic HTML, CSS, or JavaScript (willingness to learn is welcome!).

Platform and Tool Management:

  • Work with Shopify and other ecommerce platforms to implement updates and troubleshoot issues.
  • Collaborate on integrations with third-party tools, such as email marketing and affiliate platforms.
  • Use analytics tools like Google Analytics to track website performance and suggest improvements.

Collaboration and Projects:

  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and development teams to execute ecommerce initiatives.
  • Use project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) to track tasks and meet deadlines.
