ABOUT US:

Black Star Pastry has been a beloved Sydney institution since opening its first boutique patisserie in Newtown in 2008, famously known for our Strawberry Watermelon Cake.
With four stores in NSW and three in Victoria, along with a state-of-the-art Production Kitchen in Alexandria, we continue to delight customers with our innovative pastries and desserts. Our growth has been marked by exciting brand activations and pop-ups across Australia.

Responsibilities:

Day-to-day, the role will see you maintaining our online platforms to ensure the selected products are getting the spotlight at the right time. This might look like the following:

  • Overseeing and maintaining our online platform’s technical and functional operations to ensure a flawless user experience, including CRM detail.
  • Advocating enhancements in our online customer experience and eCommerce capabilities.
  • Coordination with delivery partners ensuring our content is up to date on their platforms.
  • In your dedicated channels, taking charge of inquiries, guiding customers from first contact to final delivery.
  • Championing our brand at expos and fairs, driving brand recognition and customer engagement.
  • Identifying trends and working to collate feedback and informative reports, to help drive the ideation of new approaches and even new product development.
  • Based on feedback from your online customer pool, make appropriate recommendations on improvements to in-store processes that will enhance the overall online shopping experience.
  • E-Commerce Campaigns: the crafting and execution of dynamic comms and notifications via – social media, email, and more – to drive traffic, expand our customer base, and boost sales.
  • Create tailored audience segments and personalised content to elevate engagement and conversion rates.
  • Maintain the digital marketing calendar, ensuring the wider team are informed of all scheduled activities
