O2 Commerce and ZaneRay are looking for a data-driven eCommerce Strategist to join the team and work with our high-profile clients across North America to optimize their eCommerce site and support their digital growth!
Reporting to the Director of eCommerce Strategy, your mission will be : to create effective digital strategies, based on research, data analysis and competition, operational knowledge, best practices and emerging technologies. In close collaboration with different project teams and experts (product owners, project managers, UX strategists, UX/UI designers, analysts, SEO experts, CRM experts, researchers and developers), you will work to elevate the eCommerce experience for our various clients.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Expertise in strategic eCommerce support: 6 to 8 years of experience in providing strategic support to businesses operating in B2B & B2C contexts within various eCommerce environments.
- An expert in eCommerce Best Practices: Well versed in the latest ecommerce best practices and trends. The ability to analyze a website and spot opportunities based on impact to conversion and customer experience. Knowledge of Mobile App strategies trends and strategies is also preferred but not an essential requirement.
- Data-driven mindset: Proven ability to turn data insights into actionable strategies that drive business growth, monitoring KPIs, and delivering measurable ROI.
- Strategy and Planning: Ability to create prioritized digital roadmaps for success with key business partners measuring outcomes of key initiatives and demonstrating value.
- Communication and Teamwork: ability to work with cross functional and client teams effectively, ability to lead/moderate strategic workshops.
- Experience with eCommerce platforms: Magento, Shopify, Big Commerce and Headless. Understanding core integrations for eCommerce such as PIM, DAM, and ERP.
- Experience and ability to optimize advanced Martech tools: Proficiency in navigating and optimizing a variety of tools, including customer service platforms (e.g., Gorgias, Zendesk), review modules (e.g. Yotpo, Bazaarvoice), data analytics (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager), searchandising solutions (e.g., Algolia, Klevu, Bloomreach Discovery), as well as Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), CRMs and Digital Experience Platform (DXPs) - Bloomreach certification is a plus
- Agility: Relevant experience in agile contexts, particularly within the Scrum framework.Understanding of Web Development: Familiarity with web development processes and key technical concepts to ensure alignment between strategies and technical execution.
- BILINGUAL REQUIRED (ENGLISH AND FRENCH).This skill is essential as you will interact with clients in both languages.
Responsibilities:
- Developing innovative eCommerce strategies: Create high-value strategies for D2C, B2B and B2C clients to optimize their eCommerce sites, collaborating closely with specialized teams.
- Analyze and design effective digital strategies: Develop digital solutions tailored to clients’ performance objectives, leveraging research, data analysis, competitive analysis, industry best practices, deep operational knowledge, and emerging technologies.
- Develop strategic and operational roadmaps in close collaboration with other experts: Create detailed plans guiding strategic and operational initiatives, ensuring alignment with client objectives across various project and expert teams. (UX/UI, SEO, CRM, Developer etc)
- Define specific goals and strategic KPIs: Identify client needs, establish goals, and define key performance indicators (KPIs) to track, optimize, and exceed expectations.
- Implement acquisition and conversion actions: Develop acquisition, engagement, and conversion strategies to maximize value for clients and their users.
