    To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don’t currently already have this in place. Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets, you must hold a UK nationality. Any dual nationals will require additional scrutiny and background checks prior to commencing work with RRSL.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

You will work with stakeholders from across the business to obtain, synthesise, and assess a range of data on diverse topics relating to the nuclear and defence industries, producing meaningful outputs to inform senior decision-making, both internally and to support engagements with the UK government. This will also include analysis of government relevant policies and their implications on the business.

  • You will part of a lean team with a wide remit responsible for developing the business’ position on future government policy.

To be successful in this role you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant analytical focused field (politics, international relations, economics, data analysis).
  • Experience with business and investment case development.
  • Experience economic or financial analysis, assessing economic impact, and developing related financial models.
  • Strong capability in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in the government policy and investment decision-making process
