An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new Manager/ Associate Director to join our Deloitte Access Economics team.
You will work on a range of exciting, thought-provoking and high-profile projects across a range of areas including macroeconomics, infrastructure, regulation, competition analysis, workforce, climate change and public policy across both public and private sectors.
Based in Tāmaki-makau-rau/Auckland you will work within a team of economists, including experienced Analysts, Managers, Associate Directors, Directors and Partners.

ENOUGH ABOUT US, LET’S TALK ABOUT YOU. YOU ARE SOMEONE WITH:

We’re looking for motivated and engaged individual with a passion to make an impact. You will ideally have 5+ years of experience in economics and economic modelling. Specifically, you will have:

  • A postgraduate degree in economics, and/or statistics with strong academic results
  • Previous experience in a consulting environment
  • Demonstrated understanding of the New Zealand economy
  • Applied knowledge of economic modelling, including developing and using quantitative analytical frameworks using economic principles
  • Ideally experience with one or more of the following tools such as R, Eviews and Stata
  • Demonstrated passion for making an impact in economics
  • Persuasive communication and report writing skills
  • Managing projects and teams effectively, as well as engaging with stakeholders.
