Job Description
- Analyze economic data and trends to provide insights and forecasts
- Conduct research and analyze data using mathematical models, statistical techniques, and software
- Present research results in reports, tables, and charts
- Interpret findings to support strategic decision-making
- Monitor market conditions and economic indicators to identify trends and opportunities.
- Provide expertise and guidance on economic issues and their impact on the company
- Continuously improve economic analysis methodologies and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency
- Keep abreast of industry developments
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in economics/finance
- 5-7 years’ experience in economic analysis, forecasting, and research
- Experience in energy space is highly appreciated
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in statistical analysis software
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Econometric software, and data visualization tools
- Knowledge of economic theories, principles, and methodologies
- Highly analytical individual with strong quantitative skills and a passion for economics
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
