YOUR MISSION:

Our Market Research Centre, based out of Luxembourg, is expanding and we are looking for people who are eager to work in a dynamic and rewarding environment. The centre is responsible for analysing current and future market trends, as well as conduct competitor and product analysis within the financial services industry and its different sub-sectors (including asset management, private banking, insurance, etc).
In this role you will participate in the realisation of thought leadership reports, surveys, client assignments and other studies for PwC, or on behalf of PwC clients. These analyses may concern one specific country or have a European and/or worldwide coverage.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting senior economists in performing descriptive statistics analysis, univariate and multivariate analysis, econometric modelling and forecasts, using statistical tools (excellent command of Excel, STATA or any other statistical software is a prerequisite); knowledge of forecasting and predictive analysis is a must;
  • Participating in the design of methodologies to be applied on specific economic issues;
  • Supporting data collection from business databases and recognised sources to build data sets (time series, cross-section and panel data sets);
  • Exploring and examining data to find hidden patterns;
  • Leveraging technologies to create automated workflows and processes;
  • Visualising data using adequate software tools, such as PowerBI, Tableau, SAP SAC, Excel, etc.;
  • Leveraging data analytics systems, models (e.g. forecasting, predictive), languages (e.g. Python, R) and methodologies to analyse data and create insight;
  • Preparing and updating presentations for internal and external use;
  • Assisting senior market analysts in writing reports on given client assignments and research topics
