EDM Machinist

JOB DESCRIPTION :

• Setup and operation of EDM machines proficiently to produce precision parts.
• Proficient in programming, setup, and configuring all necessary parameters into machine controls.
• Read blueprints and inspect precision tooling parts using precision measuring instruments.
• Maintain a high standard of 5-S and cleanliness in the Toolroom, while adhering to safety regulations.
• Trouble shooting machine breakdown and program error.
• Monitor process & machines discrepancy and report to respective Leader.
• Carry out in process measurement and ensure product’s quality.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant working experience.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T symbols.
• Strong mechanical atitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team.
