EDS Deliver Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver EDS accessory content set out in the PDL post PS to J1 and to deliver the key targets (on time, cost & quality) for assigned programs.
• Deliver timely engineering solutions to programme requirements as per Gateway deliverables process for assigned programs post PS to J1.
• Support and develop EDS feasibility and concepts studies to support new and existing accessory commodities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure EDS commodity delivered within targets, post PS to J1.
• Deliver RADS D&D plan & targets for EDS.
• Co-ordinate CAD geometry development / maturity of DS’s to programme timing and ensure compatibility with core products from post PS to J1.
• Adhere to EDS standards when creating EDS solutions for accessory delivery working alongside the EDS Subject Matter Expert.
• Adhere to EDS BoD/ BoP / DFMEA when delivering EDS solutions for accessories.
• Review any Lessons Learned from previous programs and deliver into future designs.
• Support EDS component delivery through Global supplier purchasing process.
• In House Engineering Supplier and EDS Tier 1 supplier meetings and collaboration.
• Support PST meetings for assigned programs.
• Support virtual and physical builds ensuring timely delivery of parts and issue resolution.
• Configure and complete EDS design validation and test planning (RMDV etc) for assigned programs.
• Deliver on time engineering releases in WERS (PACN/CRIDX).
• Deliver and complete ESQ requirements in STAR accessory database.
• Create fitting instructions for EDS accessories.
• Assign DT’s I ECR’s for assigned programs in line with EDS core milestones.
• Review EDS Core accessory features circuit diagrams for compliance and approve as necessary.
• Raise shopping carts for EDS commodity when necessary.
• BOM validation support for EDS components on assigned programs.
• Work to Agile methodology and process to VP Electrical requirements.
• Attend weekly department technical review and present updates.
• Update Skills matrix and identify any gaps for training development.
• Complete RADS weekly submission.
• Provide EDS technical support to other COGS within Accessories with design and validation activities.
• Ownership of accessories EDS system delivery.
