Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join ACMI as a casual Education and Public Programs Facilitator (EPP Facilitator) and play a vital role in the co-ordination and delivery of quality learning programs to ACMI visitors, teachers and students. Reporting to the Senior Producer (School Programs) the role also involves reporting on programs delivered, to facilitate program improvement.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • A current Victorian Institute of Teaching (provisional or full) registration, or a current valid Victorian child related screening check (working with children check).
  • Experience teaching and/or facilitating workshops and programs to school-aged children, adults, and families.
  • Knowledge of current Victorian primary and secondary curriculum and demonstrated expertise in its implementation within an education environment and/or expert knowledge designing, facilitating, or performing programs for a cultural or arts organisation.
  • Highly developed knowledge and skills in at least three of the following curriculum areas: The Arts - Media, Drama, Studio Art; Digital Technologies, English; Visual Arts, Performing Arts and/or high-level knowledge and skills related to videogames, film, television, or digital technologies through professional or personal arts practice.
  • Experience using technology in learning settings, including editing software (Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, iMovie), animation software, Microsoft suite and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
