JT Education is a boutique educational agency founded in 2016, which refers international students to various study programmes to partner academic institutions in the UK and beyond. It has grown steadily and now looks to continue expanding the market.
JT Education is also regulated by the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC) to provide a high level of visa-related services in line with government guidance.
This job role is not entitled to a Skilled Worker visa of the UK. Applicants need to hold a valid visa that allows him/her to legally work in the country. We will, however, consider sponsoring the eligible employee following the satisfactory performance review after no less than 12 months of working full-time at JT Education.
Business location: central London (some business travel within the UK may be required).
General role:
· Please be aware that this is a SALES-based recruitment role;
· Assist adequate marketing campaigns to be implemented to promote our business and services, especially during the post-COVID era.
· Consult international students (mainly Mandarin-speaking) on potential study programmes, taking their individual situations into account.
· Deliver professional services to take care of students from initial consulting to final enrolment of the most preferred choice.
Role in more details:
· Target and gain new business, and build comprehensive knowledge of the business to serve international students in both UK and their home markets.
· Develop and actively engage in client relationship building.
· Support the retention of existing business from clientele.
· Maintain and develop close client relationship of new contracts.
· Efficiently and effectively cope with the operation standards for sales administration, planning and reporting systems.
· Ensure all response documents are free from errors; professionally represent and that they address the client questions.
· Actively promote the sale of additional soft services, drawing on the soft service support as required.
· Share knowledge, experience and expertise with key clients, customer and third parties where necessary.
· In addition to your normal duties, you may be required to undertake additional or other duties as your line manager deem necessary to meet the operational needs of the organisation, including covering for other administration staff when absent for any reason.
Main requirements:
· Fluent in both English and Chinese Mandarin (Cantonese is a plus).
· Degree educated. Below-degree qualifications cannot be considered.
· Fast learner, self-starter with a can-do attitude, strong team spirit and communicator.
· Relevant experience of education recruitment consulting services, marketing and sales preferred.
· Good understanding of the education systems in mainland China and the UK, although full training will be provided.
*Paid internship oppotunities maybe offered if candidates fall short of meeting the requirements. Pay rate would then be adjusted accordingly.
Other requirements:
· You are required to comply with the Employer’s rules on all general office procedures applicable to this employment and to health & safety, use of mobile phone and computer, in addition to any requirement imposed by the country law. Failure to do so is likely to result in disciplinary action and possible dismissal.
· You warrant that you are entitled to work within the UK without any additional approvals or restriction. However, due to any reasons your rights to work in UK had been changed, you have agreed to notify the Employer immediately. Failure to do so will result disciplinary action leading to possible immediate dismissal. The UK laws prevent us from recruiting employees who have no right to work in the country.
· You shall not work for any other employer directly or indirectly whilst you are in employment with JT Education Limited.
