• A Fixed-Term, Full-Time opportunity to work with a high-performing and passionate team in the Victorian Public Service for 18 months
• VPS Grade 4: $92,332 - $104,762 plus superannuation.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• A tertiary qualification in education or social sciences is highly desirable.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Education Coordinator coordinates educational services to women, within the unique operational environment of a correctional facility as well as in the local community. The role requires a strong focus on organising and planning, relationship building, stakeholder management and both written and verbal communication skills and works to encourage the benefits and enjoyment of learning to women while increasing their employment prospects and access to other socio-economic opportunities post release.

THE ROLE OF AN EDUCATION COORDINATOR INVOLVES:

• Coordinating and planning the education service delivery in consultation with key stakeholders
• Coordinating and timetabling all community and site based education
• Supporting distance education

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience within an education environment
• Demonstrated experience in the coordination of operational service delivery across a variety of business units and program areas
• Demonstrated experience in project management including planning/timetabling, coordination of multiple stakeholders and budgeting.
