Description:

Menno Haven is seeking an Education & Engagement Specialist to join our team! The Education and Engagement Specialist is responsible for developing training, education and development strategies as well as leading organizational wide efforts to support the execution of ongoing team member engagement initiatives. This role completes tasks and responsibilities with an overall goal of providing world class experience for visitors, vendors, residents/guests, applicants, and team members.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ human resource experience, specifically in training and organizational development or a related field required.
  • Knowledge of effective learning and development methods and familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices required.
  • Knowledge of current state and federal health care regulations as it relates to compliance of team members education and training preferred.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) or Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge using MS Office suite, specifically presentation software as well as working knowledge of using learning management systems (LMS) required.
  • Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, facilitation, presentation and communication skills required.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of office equipment (i.e., Microsoft 365 and Office Suite, EHR software, fax/copier), required.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills required.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills required.
  • Creativity and familiarity with planning team member events.
  • Ability to promote and maintain a positive attitude and have a desire to engage and problem solve with dynamic individuals and teams.
  • Must be a self-starter, able to work in a team and independently.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting or senior living environment is highly desirable.
