OPPORTUNITIES

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plan Co-ordinators who are committed to ensuring that children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) receive the right support at the right time from the right place.

We are seeking to recruit three dedicated EHC Plan Coordinators to the following posts:

  • 1 x permanent post 24hrs a week to focus on children who are in receipt of EOTAS packages. With an increasing number of children now accessing Education Other Than At School (EOTAS) packages. The team is recruiting to a permanent post to focus on these cases, ensuring that packages support children and young people to return to an education setting where appropriate.
  • 1 x maternity post 12 months fixed term 37hrs per week full time
  • 1 x 12 months fixed term 37 hrs per week full time with a focus on children with an EHCP who are also part of the virtual school or extended virtual school duties.

About You
You will be committed to a person centred approach to work and possess excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. A background in working with children and young people with SEND is desirable.
The ideal postholder would have experience in chairing or leading meetings, working with a range of different professionals and have an understanding of the SEND Local Offer in North East Lincs.
The roles require the ability to prioritise effectively and work to different deadlines. You will need to be able to work across different IT systems with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

OUR PURPOSE

The Special Educational Needs Assessment and Review Team (SENART) is responsible for co-ordinating the statutory Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) assessment and review process on behalf of the local authority.
The work is undertaken in relation to children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities age 0-25 for whom a statutory assessment is being undertaken or an Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plan has being issued by the Local Authority.
