About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to take a key role in West Northamptonshire’s SEND Service. We are looking to recruit two dynamic EHC Service Managers who will join our well-established service and continue to deliver and drive forward our support for children and young people with SEND and their families.
Our plans for SEND across West Northamptonshire, working collaboratively with partners across health, care, the voluntary sector and parents/carers and children and young people. You will ensure a high profile across partners in education, health and care and ensure strong communication and engagement with parents/carers and children and young people.
What will you be doing?
You will be part of a leadership team that has the operational responsibility for the (SEND) Casework, SEND Advice and Guidance. Delivering educational support services that promote inclusion and equality of opportunity for all children and actively champion the needs of children with SEND and other vulnerable groups to improve their outcomes.
About you
Your understanding and experience of the SEND and Inclusion landscape will support service development both internally and in partnership.

Your joint work will aim to improve the experiences and outcomes of children and young people with SEND ensuring that:
- their needs are identified accurately and assessed in a timely and effective way
- they participate in decision-making with their families about their individual plans and support
- they receive the right help and support at the right time
- are well prepared for their next steps and achieve strong outcomes
