JOB SUMMARY
These are exciting times at the Department for Education and we’re continuing to build effective services for all – children, adults, and those in social care. Our diverse and inclusive culture reflects the society we live in and this helps us to achieve better outcomes for all our users.
We want excellent teachers for every child. This requires user-centred services to make it easy for people to become teachers and find the right job at every step of their career, from expressing an interest in teaching, becoming a teacher and developing their career and moving jobs. A key aspect of this is the digital transformation of our services.
We design, build and support joined-up services, making a real difference to millions of people who use education services. We make our users’ experiences much easier by ensuring that they are designed around their needs and goals. We innovate, experiment, challenge, and iterate. We care about the way we work, how we treat each other, the quality of our services and we get the job done.
