EDUCATION PSYCHOLOGIST (LONDON SOUTH CLUSTER) - 2 YEAR FTC – TERM TIME ONLY.

The Oasis stated goal to help all the young people who attend an Oasis Academy school achieve their ultimate potential is non-negotiable, but we recognise that some learners require a little more dedicated and focused support than others.
We know we are all built and wired differently, but understanding specifically what that means for every individual and how that translates into learning styles and delivery is a complex matter. And that demands vision and experience from a professional who is trained in assessment, devising strategies and interventions, particularly to our SEND students who require specific support with their learning, behaviour and well-being.
Oasis is breaking new ground in how we build and deliver this capability in house, and the first of these roles as a Cluster Education Psychologist is centred around our academies in the Croydon Cluster – Oasis Academy Shirley Park, Oasis Academy Arena and Oasis Academy Coulsdon.

In return for bringing your expertise, insight and unwavering belief that everyone deserves the chance to succeed in life, we offer you:

  • A unique opportunity to impact change through YOUR strategies, ideas, techniques and interventions.
  • A support network underpinned by the same beliefs you hold dear
  • A commitment to provide supervision for you in this key clinical role
  • A range of tailored benefits to suit your lifestyle
  • Flexible full-time or part-time working hours to suit your needs
  • An ethos and purpose that sets us apart from others.
  • And a person-centric culture that cares about its employees

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

There is a full job description attached, but as well as relevant psychological qualifications, you will also be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience of working in a range of different educational settings for children and young people
  • Experience of planning programmes or interventions for pupils with SEND
  • Knowledge of a range of age-appropriate psychological assessments and techniques
  • Great legislative knowledge in areas pertinent to educational psychology and SEND
  • And of course, a great team and collaborative approach that will instantly gel with the culture and purpose of Oasis. A community of academies that truly cares and delivers impactful outcomes.

If we have piqued your interest and you would like to know more, we welcome conversations ahead of any application. To arrange this please contact Ella Marrett-Gregory at ella.marrett-gregory@oasisuk.org
Or, if you cant wait to apply and start the conversation at an interview – please complete the application form and tell us all about you, your experience and how your ambition to change the way support is delivered, to all matches ours.
