Responsibilities:

Join our wonderful team as an Education Support Officer within the Specialist Provision Centre (SPC) at Bunscoill Rhumsaa Primary School.
Under the guidance of the SPC Manager and SEN Teachers, you will work closely with our team to deliver aspects of the curriculum for pupils who may have social/emotional, behavioural, physical, sensory and/or learning difficulties.
You will support, follow and contribute to individual education plans, working with small groups of children, set up activities for the day and take pupils out on trips, helping them learn life skills. Our pupils are very much part of the wider school community and join their mainstream peers for some lessons, lunches, assemblies and other school events. Some pupils also spend time in mainstream classes during the week, with staff working closely together to ensure this is successful.
