Chinook School Division is seeking an Educational Assistant for Eastend School. This assignment will include duties that support students who are working on courses delivered by Sask DLC.
Dates: October 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025

QUALIFICATIONS :

Educational Assistant certification or early childhood training an asset
Ability and experience in working with children
Physical ability to work with active students
Strong interpersonal and relationship skills, and an ability to work in a team environment
A positive and flexible attitude to change
Demonstrates a commitment to truth and reconciliation
Demonstrates a commitment to supporting diversity and inclusion

Willingness to meet the health and hygiene needs of children as required
Work one on one with students and within a classroom setting
Based on needs of individual students, provide individual students with assistance in speech, motor, and language development and social and life skills
Work as part of a team in development and implementation of Individual Improvement Plan
