The Westgate School is seeking an exceptional Educational Psychologist to join our dedicated SEND Department to play a pivotal role in transforming lives through education.

This is a term time only role (39 weeks to include INSET/Twilights)

Hours of work are 8.00am – 4pm, Monday to Thursday and 8.00am – 3.30pm on a Friday (37)

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our SENDCo to lead EHCPs, Annual Reviews, and Multi-Disciplinary meetings, providing vital psychological advice in line with SEND guidance.
  • Conduct one-on-one assessments and deliver comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations for support and referrals.
  • Support parents, teachers, and professionals involved in children’s education, fostering a cohesive educational community.
  • Design interventions promoting psychological well-being, social, emotional, and behavioural development among our students.
