Description:
DESCRIPTION
Highmount Preschool is offering a permanent, part-time position for an experienced educator to join our amazing educational team. Primarily supporting within the 3 year old class, this position works across both the 3 and 4 year old cohorts. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
- Initiative and the ability to cohesively work within a team environment
- Commitment to developing nurturing relationships with children and families
- Excellent communication skills with a positive, enthusiastic and professional attitude
- An articulate understanding of early childhood pedagogy and practice
- Experience in supporting the implementation of a high quality educational program, based on approved learning frameworks
- Confidence in their contribution to observations, reflections and documentation
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of the NQF and VEYLDF
- Commitment to continuous professional development
Experience with the StoryPark platform is preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Certificate III or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
- Minimum 3 years experience as an educator
- WWCC and Criminal Record Check
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates
