EEE Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

  • Coordination of EEE part selection, qualification and procurement for applications in space including:
  • Manage the EEE part quality assurance (DCL and PAD review, Parts Control Board participation) in prime level programs with customer and subcontractors
  • Evaluate components with respect to compliance with project requirements and manufacturing aspects for in-house designs
  • Initiate and support the procurement of EEE parts and manage EEE part qualification programs
  • Prepare, review and release EEE documentation (e. g. DCLs, PADs, qualification status)
  • Process parts non-conformities and provide technical support for NRB decisions
  • Manage relations with component suppliers and manufacturers
  • Management of EEE alerts and their documentation in the internal parts database

Your Qualifications

  • University degree in electrical ‎engineering, physics or similar discipline
  • Quality and Product Assurance background
  • Technical understanding of EEE part technologies and failure mechanisms for different part families
  • Working knowledge of EEE standards and specifications (ESA/ESCC/ECSS and MIL standards)
  • Fluently written and spoken English

Optional Skills:

  • Professional experience in technical and quality management of EEE components for space
  • Experience with relevant test methods for component qualification and ‎screening
  • Knowledge of the market for electronic components for space applications
  • Experience in circuit design and electronic assembly processes
