- Department: Neurology Services
- Schedule: Full-time, Rotating Shift, 40 hours/week

REQUIREMENTS
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- One or more of the following required:
- Electroencephalographic Technician credentialed from the ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation (ABRET) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Technologist specializing in Evoked Potential credentialed from the ABRET NeurodiagnosticCredentialing & Accreditation (ABRET) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Technologist specializing in Neurophysiologic Intraop Monit credentialed from the ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation (ABRET) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Tech specializing in Nerve Conduction Study obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate’s degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Responsibilities:
Perform electroneurodiagnostic testing.
- Perform set up and preparation of equipment/supplies for ordered test.
- Review patient’s history, obtain any necessary information or documentation and provide education to patient about procedures.
- Monitor and document patient’s condition at all times and report any adverse reactions.
- Operate and maintain a variety of equipment to obtain diagnostic data, which may include EEG (Electroencephalography), EP (Evoked Potential), and PSG (Polysomnography) equipment.
- Recognize and correct for artifacts.
- Score/graph, document and report results of diagnostic procedures.
